Aberdeen Football Club is seeking an experienced and dynamic General Counsel to lead our legal function across a diverse range of areas including football regulatory, commercial, employment law and compliance.

This is a unique opportunity to play a key role at the heart of a leading Scottish football club, advising on high-profile matters such as player transfers, regulatory compliance, commercial contracts, and safeguarding. You’ll work closely with senior leadership, external legal advisors, and governing bodies including the SFA, SPFL, UEFA and FIFA.

What we’re looking for:

• Qualified Solicitor (Scots Law or England & Wales) with 8+ years PQE
• Strong knowledge of football regulations (domestic and international)
• Solid foundation in contract law with hands-on experience in commercial and employment law matters.

Desirable: Experience within a football club or sports governing body.

This is a full-time role working 35 hours per week; hybrid and flexible options are available.
