Findlay Marshall will join Championship side Arbroath FC on loan until the end of the season.

The 19-year-old-joined the AFC Youth Academy at U12 level and is in his fourth season as a full-time professional.

During the 2023/24 campaign the midfielder was a key member of the side that won the Club Academy Scotland U18 League, whilst also continuing his development on loan at Edinburgh City FC. Last year he spent the season on loan at Cove Rangers, making 38 appearances and scoring eight goals for the League One side.

“It’s important that Findlay builds on his successful loan spell with Cove last season”, said Dons boss Jimmy Thelin.

“The opportunity at Arbroath will allow him to get regular senior football in a professional environment and be tested at the next level in the Championship.

“We believe this is the right move for Findlay at this point in his career and we look forward to seeing his continued development.”
