“I think we are ready to go again.

“We knew it was going to be a tough week from the start. I think we’ve shown some positives in both games – I think in the second half in both we’ve really picked up from the first half. We are hoping to make improvements from both games and then it is a semi-final so anything can happen. We are looking forward to it.

“We had a chance to sit down as a group and go over the things that need to be different from Wednesday and Sunday if we are to have a chance of getting a positive result.
We went through it all. there’s a lot of things we can improve on, obviously. The two results haven’t been the best, but like I said there are positives, which we are hoping to take into Sunday.

“It is a one-off game. You never know what could happen. What we need to do differently is stick together as a team. The teams we’ve played this week are all top teams in the league, so we knew it was going to be tough. I think sticking together and being a bit better on the ball when we do have it, taking care of it, are the main things we can improve on.

“It is a massive game for the club, never mind just us. We’ve got to really stay in the game as long as we can and try and nullify any Hibs chances.

“The girls that have come in this week have been good. Ellie’s played already and has done well. Hopefully they can all get some minutes under their belt this weekend. It’ll be good to see them on the pitch.

“We know they’re a big threat. They have got some very, very talented players. We know it’s going to be tough, but I think we’ve got the quality in our squad, and we can really push for a result.

“I think it’s huge. We’ve not been in a big cup game in a very long time. So, a semi-final is a big thing. It’s just one more game then you can get to a final. You never know what could happen on the day. You will always have the thought of a potential final on your mind. But at the front of your mind, it’s just the game that’s in front of you to start with.

“We’ve got to do the work on Sunday if we want to experience that.”
