The Aberdeen FC First Team will travel to Portugal for a pre-season training camp.

Jimmy Thelin will take his squad to the Algarve for a week of intense warm weather training at the start of July.

As part of a rigorous pre-season programme, the team will spend seven days building up their fitness and will compete in some closed door matches ahead of the season kick-off on Saturday 13^th July.

Back on home soil, the first team will travel to Balmoor Stadium on Wednesday 10^th July to face Peterhead FC. Ticket information for this match will follow in due course.

Meanwhile an Aberdeen XI will face Huntly FC at Christie Park on Saturday 13^th July before heading to The Haughs to take part in a testimonial match for James Chalmers at Turriff United the following Tuesday.

And Scott Anderson will take his Under 18’s squad to Largs for a pre-season training camp before facing Keith FC at Kynoch Park on Friday 19^th July.

Fixtures for the new SPFL Premiership season will be announced on Thursday 27^th June.
