Phoebe Murray has put pen to paper on her first semi-professional contract with AFC Women.

The 16-year-old midfielder graduated from the performance school and featured for the AFC Women first team squad last season making 24 appearances.

Phoebe has represented Scotland at U16 and U17 level, scoring one goal for her country in a match against Poland.

As a lifelong Dons fan, this is a proud moment for Phoebe and her family.

She said: “I’m delighted. I’ve been an Aberdeen fan my whole life so to sign my first contract with the club I love is really special.

“Last season was an amazing experience. I didn’t expect to play as much as I did but I now need to kick on and keep working hard ahead of next season.

“I’ve really developed as a player in the last year and the experience of playing at the top level has improved my all-round game.

“I can’t wait for pre-season; it will be a chance to impress the new manager and I am just eager to get started.”
