Supporter Information | Viaplay League Cup Semi-Final
Hibernian v Aberdeen

The Dons will take on Hibernian in the Viaplay Cup Semi-Final at Hampden Park on Saturday evening. Supporters travelling to Glasgow should please familiarise themselves with the information below provided by the SPFL at the pre-ops meeting this week:
TRAVEL
Please check with Traffic Scotland for any issues before you travel and listen to traffic alerts on the radio. There are a number of roadworks between Perth and Dundee, both ways.
Buses to the west of the stadium:
M8/M74 to M77 – exit M77 at Jct 1 (Dumbreck) – onto Dumbreck Road to Titwood Road (Low Bridge on Titwood Road 4.2m or 13’9” – Diversion required depending on height of bus via Haggs Road/Shawmoss Road), Minard Road onto Langside Avenue B768 and thereafter follow direction from Police motorcyclists to allocate supporters bus parking areas in the west of stadium area.
Buses with passes need to follow the above routes as well and should only deviate if they possess a specific Hampden Car Park pass. This should be prominently displayed so the motorcycles are aware.
Coach Parking:
Blue Car Park – off Letherby Drive
For the Aberdeen overspill buses, the area they will be directed to is Queens Drive, Battlefield Road, Langside Road. Buses should approach from the west and avoid Polmadie Junction.
Parking Restrictions
Supporters attending the match should be aware that the area immediately surrounding the stadium is mainly residential and the availability of on-street parking is extremely limited due to event specific parking restrictions.
It is advised where possible to use public transport to get to and from the stadium, if not travelling by organised coach/bus. Please note, parking wardens will be on duty patrolling the restricted areas.

Additional carriages and services will run both pre and post event; Aberdeen supporters are encouraged to utilise Mount Florida train station.

TURNSTILES OPEN
Turnstiles will open at 3.45pm. Please arrive as early as possible to allow for a safe entry.
TICKET
Admission to this match is by ticket only. No person will be admitted to any part of the ground or stadium unless on production of the proper accreditation or ticket issued by the SPFL.
Ticket resolution cabins will be located at the South-West corner from 3.45pm on match day.

Requests for accessible parking must be arranged in advance by contacting AFC Ticket Office
KIOSKS
Kiosks take card payments only.
PROGRAMMES
Programmes will be on sale around the stadium at a cost of £5.
SMOKING/VAPING
The seating decks and concourses are designated no smoking areas and this includes E-cigarettes.
SEARCHING
Supporters should expect to be searched. All bags will be searched. If you don’t need your bag, please don’t take it.
FLAGS
No surfing flags or excessively large or extendable poles. Poles should be 1m in length and no thicker than a little finger. Flags and banners must conform to the relevant fire regulations. No flags to overhang advertising boards or cause obstruction or danger to other members of the public. The size of the flag is at the discretion of the home club Safety Team. All flags will be examined for content. Flags of an offensive nature will not be permitted.
PYROTECHNICS
PLEASE NOTE: PYROTECHNIC DETECTION DOGS AND HANDLERS WILL BE ON DUTY AT THE GAME.
ANYBODY CAUGHT IN POSSESSION OF ANY PYROTECHNICS EITHER ENTERING THE GROUND OR WITHIN THE STADIUM SEATING DECKS WILL FACE AN INDEFINITE BAN FROM THE CLUB AND COULD ALSO FACE CRIMINAL PROCEEDINGS.
Do not take pyrotechnic devices to the game. Do not light or throw them. Do not pick up any pyrotechnic devices as you don’t know what type it is. Some explode after flaring or smoking. These can seriously injure you or kill you. Smoke alone can have serious health issues for asthmatics and those with bronchial or other health issues.
Please be aware of the recently enacted law regarding pyrotechnics. (fireworks and pyrotechnic articles (Scotland) act 2022) (prohibition of pyrotechnic articles at designated venues or events).
It is an offence for a person, without reasonable excuse, to possess a pyrotechnic article while the person is in a public area or at a designated venue or while at a designated event.
INCURSIONS
Please do not enter onto the track or field of play unless instructed to do so by Stewards or Police. This can lead to ejection from the stadium and arrest.
DAMAGE
Any damage caused to seating will cost your club, and that includes, toilets and other fitments.
VENUE SECURITY
All spectators are reminded that security is the responsibility of all those at the ground and not just safety and security personnel. If you see something suspicious or unsafe, please report this to the nearest member of stadium staff, Steward or Club Staff Member.
HAMPDEN GROUND REGULATIONS UNACCEPTABLE CONDUCT:-
As at all fixtures, unacceptable conduct will not be tolerated. Any individuals attending the match who are found to have engaged in unacceptable conduct may have disciplinary action taken against them. This may include removal of ticketing privileges for games, removal of season tickets and bans from stadiums for a specified period/or other appropriate sanctions. Unacceptable Conduct may also lead to criminal charges. Both Clubs and the SPFL operate a zero‐tolerance policy towards racism. Inappropriate/offensive songs should not be sung and dependant on the content, could be followed up by the clubs and Police Scotland.
