YOUR MATCHDAY GUIDE

ABERDEEN V BK HACKEN | THURSDAY 31ST AUGUST

The Dons are back in European action this Thursday night and the match is completely sold out!

With a packed out Pittodrie we are encouraging all supporters to arrive as early as possible (turnstiles open from 6.45pm) to ensure everyone is seated to Roar on the Reds as they emerge from the tunnel ahead of the 7.45pm kick-off.

STADIUM ACCESS | MAIN STAND & SOUTH STAND SUPPORTERS

The whole of the South Stand will be designated for Dons supporters for this match with BK Hacken supporters seated in Main Stand Block A.

Sections P, Q & R of the South Stand will enter via the South Walkway which is accessed from Park Road. Ticket check and search barrier points will be in place as per normal procedures in that location.

Sections S, T, V, W, X, Y of the South Stand will enter via the Merkland lane turnstiles, as normal.

6.45PM | TURNSTILES OPEN

With a packed out Pittodrie we are encouraging all supporters to arrive as early as possible.

Turnstiles will be open from 6.45m so you can get in early to see the Dons warm up and get match ready. Grab some food and watch the stadium fill up before we get ready to kick off at 7.45pm.

STADIUM ACCESS | NEW ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEM

This will be our second match with the TEAMcard access system, and we want to ensure supporters give themselves plenty of time to navigate through the turnstiles and avoid queueing where possible.

Watch the video below to familiarise yourself with how the access system works:

UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOUR | PITCH INCURSIONS, MISSILES & PYROTECHNICS

As with all matches at Pittodrie, Thursday night’s fixture will be subject to our ground regulations and policy on unacceptable conduct which includes a zero-tolerance policy towards racism.

Pitch incursions and missiles being thrown onto the pitch will result in ejection from the stadium and depending on the severity of the incident, a ban from Pittodrie and potential for further action from the authorities.

With this being a UEFA fixture the club will also be under greater scrutiny and face hefty fines if any supporters make their way onto the pitch, if pyrotechnic devices are used or if items are thrown from the crowd.

Supporters are also politely reminded use of pyrotechnic smoke devices inside and outside the stadium is prohibited and the use of these objects is endangering themselves and others. Anyone caught in possession or using a pyro device will face criminal action and will be banned from Pittodrie.

All supporters should also be aware of tougher laws regarding pyrotechnics. (Fireworks and Pyrotechnic Articles (Scotland) Act 2022)

(Prohibition of pyrotechnic articles at designated venues or events).

It is now an offence for a person, without reasonable excuse, to possess a pyrotechnic article while the person is in a designated venue or while at a designated event. A person convicted of an offence is liable, on summary conviction, to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 6 months, a fine or both.

We thank you in advance for your co-operation and ensuring the safety of all players, officials and your fellow spectators at Pittodrie.
