Match Preview | Rangers Women v Aberdeen Women
After Sunday’s hard fought 1-0 victory over Glasgow Women, Aberdeen Women are straight back to action on Wednesday evening when they travel to take on Rangers Women. The game kicks-off at 8pm at Broadwood Stadium.
The sides have met once so far this season, with Rangers winning 8-0 back in August at the Balmoral Stadium. Following Sunday’s victory, The Dons have moved up to ninth position on 14 points, whilst Rangers are in third position.
Midfielder Bailley Collins looks ahead to the midweek game:
“It will be a tough one, midweek games are always tough. They are full time, we are not. We have got to take confidence and positives from recent games. We will give the same effort and try to nullify them as much as we can.

“I think we can try and hit them on the counter attack. We have got pace up front and in the wide areas. I think that will be our real threat. When we get the ball we need to make the most of it. We need to use our strengths that we have got with the pace and speed that we have up front to try and create chances against them and to try and hurt them.
“We have only conceded two goals in our last five games which is a real positive for us. Towards the end of last year we were conceding two or three goals a game. We have only conceded one goal so far this year which is a real positive.”
