“It has felt like a long time since our last game, especially when we didn’t think the game last week was going to be off. It will be good to get back onto the pitch and feel like we are getting back to normality again. With a little short break you get a bit of energy back and a bit of momentum. It was disapoitining because I think we had a really good game against Glasgow City and it would have been great to follow that up with another couple of performances. That is football and these things happen and we just have to adapt and adjust to that.
“It will be a really competitive game on Sunday as well and one that we should be up for. Hopefully the girls are up for this game and an opportunity to get three points which will be really important to get a couple of more points onto the table and really start to climb back up where we belong.
“It was good to get the announcement about Nadine Hanssen joining us. She has been with us for a while and it has been something we have been working on. She has just had a young child so we have had to make sure that we are not rushing the process. Your body changes in a lot of different ways and your values and how you think as well. We have been working with her. We have made sure that she is comfortable with the squad and comfortable with our ambitions and what we want to achieve.
“She has really enjoyed it. All of the girls have been training and working with her for a long time but to finally get it over the line is exciting and we can’t wait to get her into the squad. She will bring so much, not just onto the pitch but she has got so much professional qualities. Her attitude is fantastic, she is a great person and she will bring a lot of experience which hopefully helps some of our younger players as well. She is a really good leader for us as well.”
