Friday 16 September | AFC's inagrual esports event at Pittodrie
Aberdeen FC’s inaugural esports tournament will be hosted in the Richard Donald Stand at Pittodrie Stadium on Friday 16 September.
UPDATE
Update (4:30pm Thur 15th): A small number of tournament entry spaces for tomorrow night’s event have become available.
SPECTATOR INFORMATION
Spectators can attend free of charge but are advised to arrive early as spaces are limited and available on a first come, first served basis.
Refreshments including hot dogs, pies, confectionary, and hot and cold drinks will be available to purchase during the event.
Spectators will be able to test their skills at FIFA as the competiton progresses and more stations become available to play.
️ Retro gaming – kindly provided by AFC Heritage Trust – will be available at various stations throughout the venue.
There will also be the opportunity for spectators to win a number of prizes on the evening, outlined in detail below!
TIMINGS*
4:00pm – Player Registration Opens
4:45pm – Player Registration Closes
4:45pm – Player Briefing
4:45pm – Doors open to spectators
5:00pm – Tournament Kick-Off (Group Stages)
7:00pm – Consoles made available for friendly/spectator usage
7:00pm – Knockout stages commence
8:20pm – Semi Finals & Final to be completed “On Stage” with Live Commentary!
9:00pm – Tournament Finish and Prize Giving

64 local gamers will be competing for a whole host of prizes in the FIFA 22 Competition on the evening with the Semi-Finals and Final taking place on the Main Stage!
