After a weekend without a fixture, due to international call ups, AFC Women are back in action against Hibs Women in the SWPL Cup quarter finals this Sunday. Francesca Ogilvie spoke to RedTV to preview the cup tie. To watch the interview on RedTV, please click here.

“There is a good buzz about training ahead of the game this weekend. Training has been really good. We lost out narrowly to Hibs last time 1-0, we are now at home this weekend and we are looking to progress to the next round.

“It is a huge incentive for the group to reach the semi-finals of a cup. Whenever you are in a cup it is always the next stage you want to go into.

“Being at home is an advantage for us, we are hoping to get another big crowd in. We had a big crowd in last time we played at home so it is good to get the home fans in.

“Our first game of the league season we had 500 supporters there to watch us, none of us have ever experienced that before. Hopefully we can continue to get that support.

“I have missed a few games this season but I am feeling really good. I am back fully fit and hoping to play on Sunday!

“We have got three big games in a week coming up so squad depth will be really important. We have got a good squad and people on the bench who are ready to come on.”
