“It feels really good to be nominated. It has been a good first month for us in SWPL1. It is really important to get points on the board early on, to get two wins and a draw with players missing was massive for us.

“With players out injured, everyone has to step up. I have got a bit of experience under my belt now so I feel like I have to step up and try to be a leader on the pitch.

“Sunday’s defeat to Hearts was a tough one to take. We thought that we dominated the first half but from out standards it was a poor second half. We have to take the positives from the game and work on the negatives for Sunday.

“We know Rangers are a top side, they are a professional side who are training all the time. We have got quality players in our side who can produce good moments. We have worked hard in training this week and we look to Sunday to go and try to get a result.”
