With the team kicking off its eighth consecutive season in competitive European action with an emphatic 5-1 win against BK Haken last Thursday, the Club is pleased to confirm some new faces will be joining the RedTV team for the 2021/22 season.

The RedTV match day show returned last week with renowned Scottish broadcaster Rob Maclean back at the helm and he was joined by a new member of the RedTV team, Andy Bargh, who provided commentary of the match alongside former Dons midfielder Steve Tosh.

As part of the new format the Club will welcome three new commentators to the ranks who will each provide commentary and pitch-side reporting at home matches on a rotational basis.

Andy, who is a freelance commentator and broadcaster, has featured on BBC Scotland and most recently provided commentary of England v Scotland match for TalkSport. Andy also hosts the Hampden Roar podcast, which is solely focused on the Scotland national team.

Also joining the RedTV team is Rory Hamilton. A well-known voice in Scottish football, highly experienced broadcaster Rory has provided commentary for BT Sport, Premier Sports and most recently was part of the STV coverage during the Euro’s. Rory will be behind the mic for the first league match of the season when we welcome Dundee United to Pittodrie this Sunday.

Rory and Andy will be joined by freelance broadcaster Jamie Lyall who has covered elite rugby and football matches for BT Sport, Amazon Prime Video, BBC Scotland and Premier Sports and is a regular voice on the BBC’s Sportscene Scottish Premiership highlights show. Jamie will join the team on his return from the Olympics in Tokyo.

As ever, throughout the season Rob will be joined by a host of famous ex-Dons players on a matchday to preview and analyse the action with other special guests lined up to join them throughout the season including members of the first team when possible.
