For season 2020/21 Aberdeen will begin their Scottish Premiership campaign at home against Rangers at 5.30pm on Saturday 1st August. The Dons will then travel to Perth to play St Johnstone for a 12.30pm KO the following Saturday. Both matches will be shown live on Sky Sports.

Please note the August 1 start date remains subject to approval from the Scottish Government.

The Reds will have Friday night games at home against St Mirren at the start of October and Hibernian at the beginning of November.

There will be no winter break this season due to congestion with the fixtures. Aberdeen will therefore have a home tie against Dundee United to look forward to on the 2nd January 2021 in a traditional New Year fixture.

There will be international breaks at the start of September, October and the middle of November.

Cup Notes:

The UEFA Europa League Qualifying matches will be one legged ties on the following dates:

20/08/2020 Preliminary round, 27/08/2020 First qualifying round, 17/09/2020 Second qualifying round, 24/09/2020 Third qualifying round, 01/10/02020 Plat offs.

The draw for the Europa League QR1 will take place on the 10th August.

Aberdeen along with Celtic, Rangers and Motherwell will enter the last 16 stage of the League Cup due to their participation in Europe.

The plan is still to play the semi-finals of the 2019/20 SFA Scottish Cup, involving Aberdeen v Celtic and Hearts v Hibernian.

The final of the 2020/21 Scottish Cup is pencilled in for 8th of May, before the end of the league campaign due to work needing to be done at Hampden before hosting European Championship matches in June.
