Ahead of our return to action for the visit of Dumbarton in the Scottish Cup Fourth Round this Saturday we have some additional information to share with supporters who are planning to attend the match.

Tickets for the match remain on sale now, priced at £17 for Adults, £10 for Concessions (Over 65s/Under 18s) and £5 for Under 12s. Tickets are available online, over the phone by calling 01224 63 1903 or in person from the Pittodrie Ticket Office.

As many of you will be aware, the Merkland Stand is being trialled as a traditional ‘home end’ as part of an effort to recreate the atmosphere enjoyed by all at away matches throughout the country.

The initiative, which has been supported by AFC Chairman Dave Cormack and driven by you, the Red Army, is one of many plans to improve the matchday experience at Pittodrie.

Ahead of Saturday’s match, Dave has this message for supporters, “The response to the Red Shed theme for this game against Dumbarton is really encouraging, especially as it’s the Red Army who picked up the gauntlet to foster an away day atmosphere at home.

“Over 1,700 supporters confirmed, and counting!

“It’s what the Club, fans and team want to see.  All eyes will be on the Red Shed and I know you’ll make the Club and team proud of your efforts, just like you do at every game, so let’s have some fun, bring plenty of colour and make loads of noise.

“Stand Free!”

In order to generate the best level of support possible for the team we are encouraging all supporters to arrive early to welcome the team at the beginning of the match with a pre-match fire display set to take place in front of the Merkland Stand.

Supporters are also encouraged to bring flags and banners which can be accommodated in excess seating in the Merkland Stand. Normal ground regulations apply, all flags must be flame retardant and flag poles a maximum height of 1.2 metres.
