INFORMATION TO SUPPORTERS TRAVELLING TO TYNECASTLE

Travel

Aberdeen supporters attending the match should make regular checks with Traffic Scotland if they are travelling by road.

They should also listen to traffic updates on the radio.

Anybody intending to approach the stadium from the west via Stevenson Road and Westfield Road and under the railway at Murrayfield onto Roseburn Street will not be able to do so. The road under the railway is closed to traffic. The diversion takes you along the West Approach where you eventually double back and come in from the other side.

Parking

Aberdeen supporter’s coaches and mini-buses can park on Russell Road.

Car parking in the area is very restricted, so please consider public transport into the area or at least car share.

All supporters are to be reminded that McLeod Street will be completely closed to vehicles from one hour and 15 minutes before kick-off and 30 minutes after the match with no exceptions.

After the game, supporters will be encouraged to go left (North) along McLeod Street at the end of the match.

Entry

Aberdeen supporters will be accommodated in the Roseburn Stand.

Tickets can be bought from the Ticket Pod situated at the away turnstiles.

The pod opens at 6.45pm.

Turnstiles open at 6.45pm.

Six turnstiles will be used for this area.

Tickets are for ALLOCATED seating. Supporters are kindly asked to sit in their designated seat and not to congregate on the concourse or in the vomitories.

There are plenty of bars in the local area. Please remember that you may not be permitted entry to the stadium if you are believed to be drunk. Please expect to be searched before entry. This is normal practice and supporters should be familiar with such requests by Stewards and Police.

Kick-off

PLEASE NOTE: There will be a minute’s silence before kick-off to mark the passing of Bobby Prentice who played more than 200 games for Hearts during the 1970’s.
