AFC Heritage Trust Armistice 100 Commemoration

The annual Aberdeen Football Club Heritage Trust Armistice Commemoration took place at Pittodrie today. This year’s event took on added significance, taking place the day before the centenary of the Armistice which will be marked around the world. The Heritage Trust were joined by a host of invited guests including Lord Provost, Barney Crockett and many friends of AFC & the Heritage Trust.

Following the 2 minutes silence, Pittodrie Chief Executive Officer, Duncan Fraser laid the club wreath alongside others from the Aberdeen FC Community Trust, the AFC Former Players Association, several city schools and other organisations.

For The Fallen

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
