An Aberdeen supporter has been the recipient of a replica home shirt courtesy of a generous donation from an AberDNA member. Twelve-year-old Samantha Quirie from Tillydrone received the shirt after Club Chaplin Barry Douglas was contacted by DNA member Craig Porter. Barry works with residents of the local community around the city and Samantha, who regularly attends matches at Pittodrie, came to the stadium to collect the shirt and was given an extra treat as she met four first team players.

Mark Reynolds, Michael Devlin, Scott McKenna and Scott Wright were in for some extra training during the international break and presented Samantha with her new shirt as well as posing photographs in the tunnel area and the directors box as she proudly held aloft her new shirt.

In the summer AFCCT participant Harvey Smith was also the recipient of an AberDNA member’s shirt and we would like to encourage supporters that if you would like to donate your shirt, please email: info@afccommunitytrust.org

We hope you had a fun afternoon Samantha and look forward to seeing you wear the shirt on a matchday at Pittodrie soon. Thanks again to Dons supporter Craig Porter for the fantastic donation.
