The Dons travelled to the capital looking to pick up from where they left off against St Mirren last week and faced a Hibernian side who were also unbeaten domestically. Tommie Hoban had the visitors ahead at half time, but were unable to hold onto their lead as Jamie MacLaren’s late strike meant the teams share the points at Easter Road. 

Hibs were the better team in the first half, but Tommie Hoban bundled home his first goal for the club to give Aberdeen the lead at the break. The second half could have gone either way, although the hosts kept pressing and got their rewards with MacLaren’s late equaliser.
