Aberdeen Football Club is delighted to announce the launch of a new retail website which will enhance the e-commerce experience for Dons supporters all around the globe.

The new site, which has been developed by Scottish web development agency mtc, is fully responsive and has been designed to provide a smoother and quicker shopping experience for supporters, particularly those using mobile or tablet.

After launching the site AFC’s Retail Manager, Jason Hill, said: “The site is great to look at, feels lighter, simpler to navigate and yet has a lot of additional functionality which will enable us to tailor offers and promotions for supporters throughout the season.

“Our previous site had taken us as far as it could so it has been on our agenda for a while now and we are delighted to get this over the line, supporters will notice a huge difference.”

The site afc.co.uk/shop will remain the only place to purchase official AFC merchandise online and the refined checkout process, which includes the option to checkout as a guest, combined with an improved search function will make it easier than ever to get your hands on the latest Dons gear.

Daniel McCabe, Project Manager at mtc said “mtc were appointed by AFC to assist with the redevelopment of the eCommerce offering for its supporters. We have been delighted to work alongside the Retail team at AFC to improve the offering of functionality as well as improve the user experience for Dons fans around the world.

“User experience has been at the forefront of the work completed – and it is our hope that fans can navigate the website more intuitively and find their Dons merchandise to add to their collection easily”

Season Ticket Holders and AberDNA members will be able to take advantage of their discount entitlement online by logging-in to afc.co.uk/shop using their Dons I.D. or the e-mail address that is associated with their existing retail account.
