SUPPORTER INFORMATION

The match against Cobh Ramblers will now take place at Fota Island Resort, Fota Island, Cork, Ireland, T45 HX62 which is situated 16 km East of the City of Cork and 10km North of Cobh.

Kick off remains at 2pm and entry is €10 for adults and €5 for U18s/OAP’s.

Supporter access is via the main entrance to the resort. Supporters will be able to use the hotel facilities (the bar in the hotel will be open) but are asked not to bring their own alcohol for consumption at the hotel or at the pitch side. Please respect the rules of the resort.

The gates to the pitch area will open at 1.15 pm. KO is 2pm. Supporters will not be segregated and it is expected that everyone will enjoy the afternoon together. Temperatures are expected to be very high by kick off so please ensure you bring adequate protection!

GETTING TO FOTA ISLAND

From Cork-

The main route to the resort is via the N8 and N25. It is a 20 minute car journey and a taxi will cost about 15-20 Euros from Cork (ask the driver before the journey starts). Look out for bus numbers 260 and 261 which are less frequent and the two bus trip on the 205 & 261 or 208 & 261 which are every 10-15 minutes. There is also a train service from Cork which leaves on the hour. This takes about 30 mins. A day return is about 10 Euros (adult) 5 Euros (child). For the fitness fanatic, it’s a 50 minute cycle. Expect to have to walk the last part of the journey.

From Cobh-

The main route to the resort is via the R624. It is a 10 minute car journey and a taxi will cost about 15-20 Euros from Cobh (ask the driver before the journey starts). Look out for bus number 223 which takes about 35 minutes.

There is a train service from Cobh. A day return is about 5.25 Euros (adult) 2.70 Euros (child). Expect to have to walk the last part of the journey.
