Over 600 free tickets allocated for AFCCT Day!

To celebrate the ongoing success of our partner charity Aberdeen FC Community Trust (AFCCT), we are encouraging all AFC supporters to turn out for our match with Dundee at Pittodrie on Saturday 17th March, which has been designed as this season’s AFC Community Trust Day!

In a bid to engage with community groups, schools, sports teams and AFCCT participants, over 600 free tickets were made available for groups to apply for.

We look forward to welcoming supporters from Newburgh Mathers P3, Sunnybank Primary, Newburgh Thistle Boys 2011s, Cove Youth 2009s, West End FC, Carnoustie Panmure 2008s, Kintore Utd, Northstar CFC Girls, Bucksburn Boys FC, Braehead PTA, Fernielea Parent Council, Fyvie Primary School, Newmachar Primary School, Aberlour, AFC Ladies U11s, Byron Thistle U16s, West End Primary, Muirfield School, Colony Park 2008s, Mintlaw Boys Club, AFC Ladies U9s/U7s, Ellon Meadows 2008s, Ashley Road School P3, Queens Cross Nursrey, Breakfast Club – Seaton CC, Colony FC 2011s, Fernielea Out of School Club, Turriff Utd Youth 2007, Byron Sports Club, Northstar 2005s, Thistle Youth Football Club 2011s, Middlefield Wasps 2011, East End Lewis United 2010, Formartine United Youth Girls, Culter Dons 2011s, Shmu FM and Sunnybank Primary School to Pittodrie.

On the day and throughout the week of the match AFCCT will enjoy an increased profile throughout with various activities taking place to spread the community spirit and feel-good factor generated by our partner charity.

In addition to raising awareness we are also committed to donating £1 for every match ticket purchased so that more excellent work can be done in the community.

Aberdeen FC Community Trust was established as the official partner charity of AFC in March 2014, “To provide support and opportunity to change lives for the better” throughout the North East. Over the past four years the scale of the work being carried out throughout our City and Shire has continued to grow with over 17,000 participants now engaged in over 60 programmes and initiatives.
