Aberdeen Football Club support Wear Red Day 2017

Each October the anti-racism charity Show Racism the Red Card holds its annual Wear Red Day. This year in Scotland it is on Friday 6th October.

It is a day of national action which encourages schools, businesses, and individuals to wear red and make a donation to help facilitate the delivery of anti-racism education for young people and adults throughout Scotland.
Aberdeen Football Club is delighted to get behind this day of action.

Nicola Hay SRtRC Campaign Manger said “We are delighted that Aberdeen FC have given their support to Wear Red Day 2017. We are encouraging all of Scotland to get involved on the Friday 6th October, wear something red and show your solidarity to combating racism and raising awareness of our campaign.”

The Dons will participate in match day activity alongisde all other SPFL clubs on Saturday 14th October when they visit Easter Road to take on Hibernian.
