Kooper Richardson is this season’s first TEXO Drone Young Talent of the Month Award winner. 

The Under 12 player joined the Academy from Formartine United Youth last season and his attitude to learn and develop as a young footballer has played a large part in his progress so far at the Academy. 

Kooper who plays in a number of positions was a stand-out performer at the recent MVC Top D Tournament over in Holland, having received Man of the Match awards in the games against AZ Alkmaar and FC Twente, who he also scored against.

Kooper has also started the season very well in the Club Academy Scotland matches and continues to train and play at a high standard.  Presenting the Award, Head of Youth, Neil Simpson said “Kooper has settled into the Academy really well and has been a deserved winner of this award. 

“There’s been a lot of competition throughout August with so many teams travelling abroad, so this is something he should be very proud of”.
