Jayden signs for three years at Exeter

31 August 2017

23 year old Aberdeen striker Jayden Stockley has signed for English League Two side Exeter City on a three year deal.

The deal was officially completed this evening.

The forward, who joined Aberdeen from Bournemouth fifteen months ago, had previously spent a period on loan with the St. James Park side.

Last season, helping the club to claim second spot in the table and reach two cup finals, Jayden made 39 appearances, scoring six goals, including a goal-of-the season candidate against Partick Thistle at Firhill.

In total Jayden made 42 appearances for Aberdeen, making 16 starts.

An AFC spokesperson commented, “Jayden wants to play more regularly which the club understands and the fact he knows Exeter made them an attractive option. He was extremely popular around Pittodrie and everyone wishes him all the very best for the future.”
