Aberdeen are pleased to announce that Ryan Harrington has joined the club this afternoon.

The 18-year-old has been on trial with the Aberdeen U20s for the past few weeks and after impressing during the pre-season campaign has been offered a contract.

He will be part of Paul Sheerin’s squad during the 2017/18 season.

Ryan joined Everton's Academy at the age of 11 and signed professional forms at Goodison in July 2015. Originally from Wrexham in North Wales, he has represented his country at Youth Level.

The player can cover a number of positions including right back, central defence and centre midfield.
