Hazlehead Primary meet Joe Lewis ahead of Dons Day Out visit

17 November 2016

Earlier this week some children from Hazlehead Primary School were given the opportunity to visit Pittodrie for a special Q & A session with Dons goalkeeper Joe Lewis!

Aberdeen’s number one faced a grilling from the children with a wide range of questions being fired at him from the enthusiastic guests.

Hazlehead Primary School was selected as the winner of our seasonal Dons Day Out prize draw where one lucky school or local community group is chosen to receive a visit from a player or invited to Pittodrie for an event like this.

On the day Joe handed over a signed shirt to the school to help them further with their fundraising efforts and it was a memorable day for all involved!

This year Hazlehead Primary was selected ahead of their visit to Pittodrie on a Dons Day Out for our match against St Johnstone on Saturday 10th December. The school will be making a return visit after raising £427 in cashback after visiting a match last season.

Dons Day Out is our fundraising through football scheme, sponsored by CNR International (UK) Ltd, which allows local non-profit organisations such as schools or local sports clubs to receive cashback on tickets for selected matches at Pittodrie.

There is still time to join us on a Dons Day Out for a match at Pittodrie and generate funds for your school, youth clubs or amateur sports teams.
