On Sunday 23rd March 2014, over 80,000 people lined Union Street in Aberdeen and gathered outside the Town House to greet the first Aberdeen side to bring silverware back to the city since 1995.

The previous weekend, 43,000 members of the Red Army travelled to Glasgow to watch The Dons beat Inverness Caledonian Thistle after a tense penalty shoot-out in the final of the 2014 Scottish League Cup.

Back home in Aberdeen just over one week later the team joined with jubilant fans of all ages to show off their new silverware in an open top bus parade through the city.
