Aberdeen Football Club competes at the highest level of Scottish Football and has a proud and successful history of success at First Team level and developing young players through the AFC Youth Academy. The Club's mission is to compete regularly for domestic honours and at the highest level of European football. The Club has a leading operational and administrative support function to support the Club's Football Management Team in achieving this and seeks to employ a full-time Football Operations Co-ordinator to cover a 12-month period of maternity leave within the Football Operations Department.

Reporting to the Football Operations Manager, the Football Operations Co-ordinator will be based at Pittodrie Stadium and be responsible for the following:

•    Operational aspects of matches, tours, tournaments and training camps for both the First Team, U20s and Academy squads.
•    Assisting in the management of facility provision.
•    Assisting in the preparation of player registrations and transfer documentation.
•    Assisting with player integration to the Club and the player recruitment processes.
•    Maintaining detailed records of all aspects of players’ development with the Club.
•    Assisting the Football Operations Manager and Senior Football Operations Co-ordinator with other projects.

This role requires advanced IT and co-ordination skills and the successful candidate will have daily interaction with the Club's Football Management Team and all other support function staff in areas including Medical, Sport Science, Performance Analysis and Player Recruitment. Familiarity with the Football Industry is preferable and other attributes required are well developed communication skills and a high degree of tact and diplomacy.

Core office hours will be Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. However, the successful candidate should be available for evening and weekend work where this is required at key times in the season and may be required to travel on occasion.

The Football Operations Co-ordinator will have advanced level skills in MS Word, MS Excel & MS Access.
