The Dons are this morning delighted to confirm defender Ash Taylor has signed a contract extension, extending his stay at the Club until 2017.

Ash joined the club in May 2014 from League One side Tranmere Rovers and has since established himself in the Dons defence alongside Mark Reynolds.

Manager Derek McInnes is pleased to have yet another member of his squad tied up on a long term deal. “Ash has matured in to his role in the team as the season has developed and he’s turning in to the player I was always confident he would be.”

“It is vital that we have players on board who want to be part of this exciting journey ahead as we strive to deliver success.”

Ash will meet the media this morning ahead of our match against Dundee this Saturday at Pittodrie.
