Youth Academy CoachWork Location: Based at Aberdeen Football Club, Pittodrie StadiumHours: 3 nights, 5

.30 – 7pm and a match on a Sunday

Salary: AFC Youth Coaches Salary Payment Structure

Qualifications: SFA Advanced Youth Licence

Duties will include:

?Provide a high standard coaching to groups under your control, educating them in the ‘Aberdeen FC Way’.

?To complete two progress reports and at least one parents evening session per season for each individual player in their squad.

?To be available to provide feedback to parents throughout the season regarding the performance of their child.

?To complete coaching content forms and submit to the Head of Youth Academy on a twice annual basis.

?To develop a positive relationship with the parents of youngsters in the programme.

?Complete CPD as appropriate to maintain coaching qualification.

?To complete player and team post match analysis forms on a weekly basis.

?To identify players available each weekend for matches and communicate any additional player requirements to the Head of Youth Academy/Head Youth Academy Scout.

?To attend coach in service days as instructed by the Head of Youth Academy.

?To ensure that all trialist information forms are completed and returned to the Youth Academy department within one week of trialist attending first training session

?To develop the young players in a healthy lifestyle, diet, drug awareness, education and code of conduct.

?To ensure that all training kit is distributed at the start of each season and collected at the end of each season or when a player exits the programme.

?To ensure all match kit is collected prior to matches and returned post match to Pittodrie Stadium for cleaning.

?To take the necessary action if they have reasonable cause to suspect or believe a child or young person is being abused and to follow the guidelines in the Child Protection Poilicy to ensure all reasonable steps have been taken to minimise risk.

?To attend Sports First Aid or Child Protection courses as required.

?To attend monthly coaches briefing evenings.

?To scout for talent or assess existing talent at weekends in games at respective age levels
