16th July: Info for Dons fans in Rijeka

16 July 2015

HELPFUL INFORMATION FOR ABERDEEN FANS TRAVELLING TO RIJEKA

LATEST UPDATE: Thursday 16th July- pm

Korzo Street, Rijeka near McDonalds is the final meeting place where the Rijeka Police will provide shuttle buses to the stadium. The buses will leave Korzo Street at 7.30 pm to drop supporters less than a kilometre from the ground. Buses will be available to take supporters back to the centre of Rijeka.

Supporters unable to use the free buses can take a taxi to the stadium (very cheap) or take the 90 minute walk!

The fan zone at the Beach near the stadium is not suitable nor sufficient to accommodate the support. However, there are a couple of bars between the drop off point and the stadium.

In any case, please arrive at the stadium in good time.

Supporters will be permitted to enter the stadium with bottles of non-alcoholic fluid as long as the top is removed and disposed of. Other receptacles such as cans are prohibited.

Enjoy the game and COYR!!

Update Wednesday 15th July:

Due to expected pedestrian and vehicular congestion in the immediate area of the stadium, local Police have advised that the Aberdeen support will be held back up to 30 mins after the game.  They apologise in advance for the inconvenience but thank the supporters for their cooperation.
