“We are all looking forward to the game on Saturday.

“At this time of the season, the next game is always so important.

“We are you in the business end of the season and it is a time when you do not want to be dropping points.

“Tuesday was a big game for us and we came through that with flying colours. Saturday will be another really tough game at Tynecastle. You always know you are going to get there. It is one the squad are looking forward to.

“Tuesday was good confidence wise going into the game on Saturday. It is one that we are all looking forward to, but it is one we need to win if we want to keep the momentum going.

“Coming off the back of two good results, confidence will naturally be high. You have always got to be on the top of your game going into a fixture like Hearts at Tynecastle. As I said we know what to expect down there.

“It will probably be a similar game to the one we had against Motherwell. They will have similar systems and will play a similar type of football. We know what to expect but we also know that we will have to be right at the top of our game if we are going to get a result.

“We look to go and win any away game, no matter what (Hearts have not been beaten since returning to their stadium). Tynecastle is always a tough place to go especially as the crowd will be hyped for the game and there will be a lot surrounding it. We know that, and we expect that. But it up to us to try and perform as well as we can and come away with the three points.

“We have had two good results leading up to this game which is good for momentum. At this stage of the season you want momentum and you want the squad feeling good about ourselves and we have been. It is important to carry that on (ahead of the semi-final).

“It is a massive game on Saturday and one we need to have full focus on instead of looking forward to next week.

“The fight for second spot is similar to last season apart from the fact you now also have Hibs. The experience we have got, we know dropping points at this stage of the season is very costly. So we have to be at the top of our game every week and have to keep putting points on the board.

“After the split you are playing against the teams round about you, so every game is important. All we can do is try and put ourselves in as strong a position as possible going into the split and then deal with the games when they come around after that.”
