“Massively frustrating.

“You saw with the performance today, we felt very comfortable at times. We just needed to get the first goal. The only thing that separated the sides was a bit of skill from Sinclair and that is what caused the defeat.

“Over the course of the week, that has been our strongest performance.

“You know coming to places like this that at times you need to ride your luck occasionally. But apart from a couple of shots from outside the area, Joe did not have much to do.

“On another day we would have scored. Gary went very close, he had a couple of chances; James has forced the keeper into a good save and I have had my chance. I maybe should have hit the target. We are just needing a bit more luck in front of goal.

“If we keep playing the way we did today, I am sure we will click sooner rather than later.

“We have a strong squad. Players are gelling and we have a number of players to come back. We have a squad that is capable of going on a good run and picking up wins.

“The positives we take from today are how we felt at times in this game.

“But we know it is a results business and the results need to improve.

“It is important we get back to winning ways on Saturday against St Mirren and start getting ourselves up the table. Then after the next international break we will have some more players back.”
