“When I came in my whole summer had been up in the air. I tired to put that behind me and focus on training and getting ready. Sometimes it is not as easy as you would think. I tired to not let it affect me. It was just all about getting games and I knew it would click again. As a whole team we hadn’t really clicked and we always did say that when the time came we would start to gel and start to play better. All in all the team has been playing and I have been playing better as well.
“I like getting on the ball and playing football. When I was in Germany that was what I enjoyed the most. We have got a style where we are trying to play football but we can play both parts of the game. You have seen that in recent weeks that we can do both parts and we are not just one dimensional. That is credit to the front players as well and they have been putting the goals away. I am enjoying playing football at the moment.
“I have just heard about the reduced crowds there. It is disappointing. I played last year without fans and it is not enjoyable for footballers. You can’t get up for games like you can do with fans but we will see what happens.
“Speaking on behalf of the players I know how good it has been having the fans back in. They have been great. It is disappointing if they can’t get to the games. Having fans in gives you all of the emotions and the buzz that runs through your body.
“When any club gets a new manager it gives a team a lift. They will have their new ideas if they get a chance to put them in place in time. We need to be ready, we know that they will be right up for the game. It will be a tough ask but we know that we go down to Hibs and focus on our stuff and what we do. We go down confident that we can win.
“We do a lot of training in our shape so we are always mixing in and out with different centre backs. We have got plenty of good players in the squad. We know if one drops out then we can replace another easy enough. The last few games we have been good, we have been able to keep a couple of clean sheets as well.
“They will have disappointment from the cup game but they did well in parts of it. We just need to worry about ourselves and not worry what is on the outside. We will go there with our game plan and try to execute it.
“We go into every game trying to win. We are Aberdeen, there is no game that we go into in thinking that we can’t win it.”
