“It was a tough game, we knew it was going to be a tough game for both teams.

“We didn’t have the best of starts to the game which was disappointing but thankfully Joe bailed us out with a brilliant save. I thought we started the second half very well and we pressed on a wee bit in the second half and we were a lot better. I think in the end a draw was a fair result. We move onto Tuesday which is an even bigger game now.

“Like I said we were disappointed with the start we made. We gifted them some opportunities which thankfully they didn’t take and big Joe bailed us out. We were better second half and pressed on, we created a few more opportunities but unfortunately, we couldn’t take them.

“I think you are always going to miss Kenny McLean’s creativity. Me and Dom Ball will do the dogged work but Kenny is the one who gets on the ball and create opportunities. You are always going to miss that when he is out. I thought Greg Stewart came on at half time and did really well. He got his foot on the ball and tried to get us passing.

“Big Sam Cosgrove has done exceptionally since he came in these past two games. He will be delighted with that performance, he will settle into the team now and that sets him up nicely for the future.

“We knew once we did the work against Kilmarnock and Hearts it was always going to come down to these two games. Today we got a draw, so we are no clearer now on if we are going to get second spot. All we know now is that Tuesday is an even bigger game and one that we want to go and win.”
