Mark Reynolds

Player Profile - Details

Mark played over 200 games for his home town club Motherwell at the start of his career. After much speculation and with several big clubs trying to gain his signature, the defender joined Sheffield Wednesday in January 2011.

Within a year, he was loaned to Aberdeen. In moving to the Dons, Reynolds joined up again with Craig Brown, who had been his manager for a spell at Motherwell.

Mark had an outstanding campaign in 2013-14. He only missed one game, and was deservedly named the AFC Player of the Year, forming a strong partnership with captain Russell Anderson as the team lifted the League Cup. A move which was initially supposed to last six months has turned into five and a half years and counting and Mark remains a very popular figure in the Pittodrie dressing room.
