Vacancy | Volunteer Youth Academy Scout (Grampian Region)

Due to continued growth, we have vacancies for Volunteer Youth Academy Scouts in the Grampian Region. The role will involve working with lead youth academy scouts, learning the use of the computer package known as ‘The Football Squad’, attending grading days, school and boy’s club matches and learning how to scout youth football players of academy standard, and any other scouting related work to benefit the club and individual. You will also be required to attend 6 weekly scout team meetings.

This role would require 6 hours of volunteering work per week, mainly at weekends.

Applicants should have excellent communication skills and have an excellent working knowledge of Highland league youth players, boy’s clubs, school football and Youth players in the region. No specific scouting experience is required as training will be provided; however, a good knowledge of boy’s clubs and youth players is essential. Having played football at some level is desirable.
Interviews for this role are expected to start week commencing Monday 20th July 2022.
