Baxter Storey have a vacancy for a full-time, permanent Sous Chef. This role is 40 hours per week, working 5 days per week mainly day shifts, with occasional weekend work also required.

This position is based at Aberdeen Football Club’s new state of the art training facility situated at Cormack Park, Westhill. This role will report directly to the Site Manager.

Responsibilities will include:

• Day to day running of the kitchen
• Good interpersonal skills as you will be interacting with the 1st team and staff on a daily basis
• A good knowledge of healthy eating and ability to adapt to specific dietary requirements
• Able to manage the day to day running of the kitchen, with support of the General Manger
• Ability to work as part of a small team and have good communication skills
• Be compliant with Baxter Storey Health & Safety and Food Safety policies and have the ability to enforce them
• Ability to manage ordering and costs

Essential Skills:

• Good timekeeping
• The ability to multitask
• Confident and comfortable working alone
• Willingness to undertake varied activities
• Current driving licence
• As you will be a focal point for Baxter Storey on site and will be engaging with the AFC players and management, clients and members of the public, the utmost professionalism will be required at all times.
