Scottish Cup Weekend | Info for the Red Army

SCOTTISH CUP 5Th ROUND | MOTHERWELL FC V ABERDEEN FC | 12/02/2022 | FIR PARK

The Dons travel to play Motherwell in the Scottish Cup Fifth Round on Saturday. So far over 2,000 tickets have been sold to the Red Army. Please note that tickets will be available to purchase at Fir Park on Saturday, from a sales pod outside the away end turnstiles at the Tommy McLean Stand (South Stand).

Here is some information that might be of use:

Gusting wind, light rain 8 degrees.

TRAFFIC

All supporters attending the match should make regular checks with Traffic Scotland if they are travelling by road. They should also listen to traffic updates on the radio. Please arrive as early as possible to ensure swift entry to the ground as there will be a large travelling away support.

PARKING

Supporter’s buses will be parked in Orbiston Street. Cars should use the local streets and car parks in the town centre.

CASH GATES

Tickets for the away end can be purchased on match day from the ticket booth at the South Stand from 1.45pm.

Please note tickets are NOT for allocated seating despite the tickets being numbered.

Supporters are kindly asked not to congregate on the concourse or in the vomitories.

KIOSKS/TICKET BOOTH

Kiosks and the ticket booth take cash and contactless payment.

COVID ARRANGMENTS

Supporters attending matches will NOT be required to produce a vaccination passport or proof of lateral flow.

Football Clubs along with the SFA and SPFL strongly recommend that all supporters, who plan to attend any match, take a lateral flow test before travelling to the match, regardless of their vaccination status.

Please remember face masks are still mandatory in all indoor areas including concourses, stairwells, kiosks and toilets. It is also encouraged and recommended that supporters wear face masks in all outdoor seated areas.

TOURNMENT RULES

This season there are no Scottish Cup replays so the match on Saturday will be played to a finish with the game going to extra-time and penalties if needed.

GROUND REGULATIONS

No smoking of cigarettes or E-cigs is permitted in the seating area or concourses. Please abide by any direction given by stewards.

Please have regard to public safety and the continued COVID protocols, which all players and match officials abide by, and refrain from encroaching onto the track side or playing surface unless instructed to do so in an emergency.

Strictly no pyrotechnic devices to be taken to the game, ignited in any stand or to be thrown on to the pitch.

No surfing flags or excessively large poles. Flags and banners must conform to the relevant fire regulations. Please no flags to overhang advertising boards.

Both Clubs operate a zero‐tolerance policy regarding racism or sectarianism.

UNACCEPTABLE CONDUCT

As at all fixtures, unacceptable conduct will not be tolerated. Any individuals attending the match who are found to have engaged in unacceptable conduct may have disciplinary action taken against them. This may include removal of ticketing privileges for games, removal of season tickets and bans from stadiums for a specified period/or other appropriate sanctions. Unacceptable Conduct may also lead to criminal charges. Reference should be made to the SPFL Rules regarding Unacceptable Conduct.
