Following the recent restructure of the Football Operation, the Club has an exciting vacancy for the new position of Youth Phase Manager.

By adopting the coaching philosophy and values of Aberdeen Football Club, this position primarily focuses on leading the development of individuals within the U13-U16s performance environment. The role will involve guiding players towards the Development Phase (U17/18s), whilst taking accountability alongside the Academy Director for decision making on each player’s progress. The role will also incorporate the position of being the Lead Coach for the U16s team playing in the Elite Tier of Club Academy Scotland.

The successful individual will have proven record in all aspects of coaching youth players (U13s – U16s) within an Academy environment, experience in managing staff within development programmes, and someone who holds the UEFA A Licence or UEFA Elite Youth A Licence qualification.

Interviews for this role are expected to commence week beginning Monday 21st June 2021 and the recruitment process will involve a series of formal and practical elements.
