Aberdeen Players Away On International Duty

There are several Dons who have been called up to represent their national sides during this international break.

Michael Devlin has once again been called up by Steve Clarke for Scotland’s Euro 2020 qualifiers against Russia and San Marino. Scotland travel to Moscow to face Russia on Thursday 10th October with the game kicking off at 1945. Scotland then face San Marino on Sunday 13th October at Hampden Park with a 1700 kick off. Both games are live on Sky Sports.

Niall McGinn will join up with the Northern Ireland squad for their Euro 2020 qualifier against The Netherlands and for their friendly against Czech Republic. Northern Ireland face The Netherlands in the Feyenoord Stadium on Thursday 10th October with a 1945 kick off. They then play the Czech Republic in a friendly on Monday 14th October in Prague with the game kicking off at 1800. Both games are live on Sky Sports Main Event.

After scoring two goals in their last match against Croatia, Connor McLennan has been named in Scot Gemmil’s Scotland U21 squad alongside Lewis Ferguson for their upcoming Euro qualifiers. They play Lithuania on Thursday 10th October at 1715 with the game being held at Tynecastle Park. They will then face the Czech Republic on Monday 14th October with a 1700 kick off. Both games will be available to watch on the Scotland National Team’s social media channels and on BBC Online.

After they both started in Aberdeen’s last match against Hibernian, Dean Campbell and Ethan Ross have been named in Billy Stark’s Scotland U19 squad as they begin their European qualifiers. They play Belarus on Wednesday 9th October at Cappielow Park with a 1900 kick off. Three days later they take on Andorra at Dumbarton with the game kicking off at midday. They then round off their qualifying matches by playing Germany at Firhill Stadium on Tuesday 15th October with a 1905 kick off. The Belarus and Andorra matches are both live on Twitter (@ScottishFA) with the Germany game being broadcast on BBC Scotland.
