It was announced this week that Aberdeen FC’s new community sports hub and training facilities will be officially opened by Sir Alex Ferguson on October 31st.

The new training ground is being named Cormack Park, in recognition of the contribution made to the project by AFC Vice-chairman Dave Cormack.

The first stage of the two-phase project – which will also feature a new stadium – is progressing at an impressive rate each day.

To give fans an update on the how the training venue is developing, RedTV last week were given access onto the site as well as a tour in the company of Project Director Raymond Edgar and Director of Football Operations Steven Gunn.
