Aberdeen FC can this afternoon confirm Danny Rogers has joined Ladbrokes Championship side Greenock Morton on loan until the end of the season.

The 25-year-old goalkeeper, who was born in the US and grew up in Dublin, has been with The Dons since 2011, first signing when he was 17.

Danny has had to be patient for opportunities at Pittodrie, making his debut for The Dons on the 24th January 2018, coming on as a substitute for the injured Joe Lewis against Rangers.

The Republic of Ireland U21 international has previously enjoyed successful loan spells at Dumbarton, Falkirk on two occasions and St Mirren, providing him with some valuable game time.

Everyone at AFC wishes Danny all the best at Cappielow.
