“First half, after we got the goal, we were disciplined and defended well but second half we came out, they have a couple of chances and we almost panic.

“First half I thought we dealt with him [Ikpeazu] reasonably well and then second half he got the better of us. The one when he missed the open goal is a straight ball up that we should deal with in the first place. As soon as you allow them to get the first contact then anything could happen.

“Maybe it was a lack of concentration or a lack of discipline. No one really taking charge and ultimately, they threw a lot at us and threw a lot of bodies forward and we just didn’t deal with it well enough.

“We’ve beaten ourselves a few times this season. We need to go on a good run now – we can’t have any more excuses. We can’t drop points to teams we are expected to beat now. It’s our own fault and we need to just work our way out of it.”
