Author AFC Media Team

Supporters travelling to the match should arrive at the stadium in plenty of time. Turnstiles will open 90 minutes before KO.

People attending events at Ibrox Stadium should be aware that the roads around the stadium are mainly residential and there is very limited parking for private cars.

There will be dedicated free parking for cars and buses in the away support car park in Broomloan Road located near to the North West of the stadium which will be the access point for the away support.

BUSES WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO PARK ANYWHERE OTHER THAN THIS CAR PARK

Police and stewards will be in attendance throughout.  Police Scotland will facilitate the movement of coaches and other vehicles to the motorway at the end of the game. Aberdeen supporters must ensure they attend at the parking area in sufficient time, with the stadium being approximately 5 mins walk from there.  Please be aware of Glasgow City Council Parking Controls – Event Day Parking Zone – which affects streets near to Ibrox Stadium and will come into force during all football matches. People must not park in streets near to Ibrox Stadium, which have been coned by Glasgow City Council.

Aberdeen supporters will enter through turnstiles 76 and 77.  Police and stewards will be on hand to carry out searches for prohibited items.  Strictly no pyrotechnics please. Advanced CCTV equipment is in place at the stadium. DO NOT be tempted to throw any items.

There will be a minute silence for former Rangers player Eric Caldow who passed away recently. We advice supporters to be in their seats ahead of kick off.

Aberdeen Supporters may be held back for 15-20 minutes at the end of the game to allow the majority of Rangers supporters to leave the area.  Early information will be passed from the Even Control Room if this is to happen.  The hold back means supporters will be kept in the seated area.

There will be limited room to display larger than normal flags.  Surfing flags are not permitted.  All flags will be scrutinised by the safety team before entry is permitted. Smoking is prohibited in the stadium. E-cigarettes are not permitted in the seated areas.

ROADSIDE VEHICLE CHECKS

In Scotland, it is an offence to possess or consume alcohol on board a public service vehicle, or a railway vehicle which is attending a designated sporting event. The legislation in relation to this is stated within section 19 of the Criminal Law (Consolidation) (Scotland) Act 1995.

SPFL GUIDELINES

The Ibrox ground regulations will be displayed throughout the stadium. They are no different from our own at Pittodrie.

Thank you for your support once again. Enjoy the game and come on you reds!
