Lewis recently took part in the Ten Questions feature in Red Matchday Magazine:

1 Favourite game?

The Betfred Cup semi-final against Rangers because of the importance of the game and the goal, especially the time it came at. I have watched it back a few times, well more than a few times!

2 Favourite Goal?

I will give you my top three. My goal against Burnley would be my favourite because of the type of goal it was. My second one would be the goal against Rangers because of the importance of it and in third place would be my last-minute overhead kick against Livingston. I might now struggle to beat any of them!

3 Favourite thing to do away from football?

Relax! Best way to do that is play my PS4 – PlayStation. I play FIFA, Fortnite.

4 Favourite TV programme and Film?

Power on Netflix and Get Rich or Die Tryin’ – a crime film starring 50 Cent

5 Favourite item of clothing?

I will go for a pair of shoes my girlfriend bought me for Christmas.

I probably spend more money on clothes that I should. My mum and dad always have a go at me for it. Especially my dad! He is happy to buy cheap gear.

The standard in the dressing room is decent. Tomas Cerny, who I sit next to, is a bit weirdly dressed but he is a bit older so we have completely different styles! He got a bit of stick at the start of the season for his gear. Gary Mackay-Steven is probably the best dressed. You do need to be careful though, as it has been known for the odd item to be graffitied! Michael Devlin had a nice white hoddie until someone drew a tactics board on it!

6 Who do you room with?

It does change from time to time. It is normally Sam Cosgrove. I have also been with Bruce a few times and also Dean. But it is usually big Sam. He is very easy to get on with and is a good laugh.
Sam is also probably now the most intelligent player in the squad after Mark Reynolds left recently. It could be Joe Lewis, he just seems intelligent! But Sam is doing an accountant’s course. He is always studying when we are rooming together. He will get the laptop out for an hour or so.

7 Best player in training?

Graeme Shinnie.

He is always good, always one of the top players every day. He is always working hard and setting an example for the young boys.

8 Favourite other sport and sportsperson?

Tennis and Roger Federer.

I quite enjoying watching tennis. I enjoy watching golf, but I am terrible at playing it! I have huge admiration for tennis players and golfers because they are out there on their own with the all the attention on them. In a team sport like football there is 11 of you, plus the subs and the manager. Not all the focus is on you. But if you are out there in the Wimbledon final there is no one there to help you.

9 Person you would like to meet?

There are a few but I will say Lionel Messi. The best footballer in the world.

10 Most influential person on your career?

My dad. He is obviously the top one and he has always been there for me. It is something I spoke about in the programme earlier in the season, how much he pushed me on and still does. He has been working for the BBC at a few of our games recently, Hamilton and Stenhousemuir. He will always phone me before and after a game.

But there have been a few others I must mention. George Cairns at Hamilton helped me a lot and then the gaffer here has been very influential and has helped me kick on in my career.
