Dons Support Antibiotic Awareness Initiative

22 January 2019
Author Aberdeen FC Media Team

A team from NHS Grampian will be attending our match with Kilmarnock on Saturday 26th January to promote antibiotic awareness. The team will be based in the Richard Donald Stand from 2pm on matchday and supporters in that stand are encouraged to meet the team.

Come along and visit them to find out what antibiotic resistance means and its importance for you and your family. There will be information available to take away, antibiotic guardian pens, stickers and colouring sheets as well as a chance to win a £25 voucher for the AFC Club Shop by completing a short quiz. The quiz can be completed on the day or get it online now and bring along your completed entry.

Antibiotics save, extend, and improve quality of life. But unnecessary and inappropriate use reduces their ability to treat infections. We need to act now and we need everyone to play their part.

Come along and support the NHS Grampian team as well as AFC this Saturday.
