The Dons will go into next Sunday’s Betfred Cup final on the back of a disappointing 3-0 defeat at Motherwell. The hosts took the lead after Niall McGinn’s short corner was intercepted by Danny Johnson on the half way line and the striker went one on one with Logan before coolly slotting home from inside the box. 

Soon after it was two as Johnson flicked on Main’s initial header from a corner and the scoring was completed before the hour mark as Turnball slammed home from close range.
