Earlier today, The Dons were drawn against either Hibernian or Ross County away in the Betfred Cup Quarter Finals. Following Hibernian’s late 3-2 victory over the Dingwall side, it will be a trip to the capital for Aberdeen next month.

The full draw was:

Rangers v Ayr United
St Johnstone v Celtic
Heart of Midlothian v Motherwell
Hibernian or Ross County v Aberdeen

The matches will take place on the midweek of 25th/26th September

Following the draw (& before Hibernian’s victory over Ross County) the manager gave us his reaction:

“Either opposition will provide a tough test, particularly away from home but when you get to this stage of the competition it’s always going to be tough. We’ll look forward to the game when it comes round”
